Tourist attractions

The purpose of this tour is to enjoy all the dishes that we are presenting to you, so you have to be hungry. And what better way of building up an appetite than a walk through the city of Valparaiso. We are going to combine the beauty of the city with its delicious food.

This tour start with breakfast near to José Francisco Vergara Square (or Viña Square) and Sucre Square, so after this meal, we’re going to walk around, having time for a few pictures and enjoy the city.

Then, we're going to take the metro in Viña del Mar Station bound for Valparaiso, to arrive to Bellavista Station. When we're here, we're going to continue walking in direction to Victoria Square and look around just for a while because it's  time for lunch.

We hope that you are enjoying the tour so far! We think that after lunch, we're going to need a walk. So, let's start walking by Condell Street until Anibal Pinto Square, to know the history around. And then, we're going to go to Concepcion Hill (part of the Heritage Site) to enjoy the beautiful view of the port.

We have to come back till Subida Ecuador for your snack in the afternoon.

After this exquisite dish, we're taking the Trole in direction to the last stop of the tour. We got off the Trole on Uruguay Street and walk till O'Higgins Square and the view of the Congreso. In front of the square is our destiny, the last restaurant.

After eating, is the end of our tour and you have two choices to decide where you'll go: the first, is walk half a block to the bus station, where buses go to Santiago and the coast of the country. And the other alternative, is to walk to Errazuriz Street toward Baron Station of Metro to Viña del Mar.

The chosen restaurants

Cevasco

Located in Valparaiso Street, Viña del Mar (steps from the “Plaza de Viña”), it’s a family business since 1977. It’s a great restaurant and its specialty are “completos”.This delicious food will be the breakfast and is ideal to start our day with energy and a lot of food. A “Completo” is based in bread and cooked sausage. The Traditional version of “Completo” is with chopped tomatoes, mayonnaise and sauerkraut (pickled cabbage pickled). And the “Italian Completo” consists of chopped tomatoes, mashed avocados and mayonnaise.

J Cruz

Located in a narrow passageway in Condell Street, Valparaíso. In this warm and small place, you have to forget about menus, there's one essential dish to try: “Chorrillana”: a mountain of french fries under a blanket of fried pork, onions and egg. This dish is perfect for lunch.

Pizzeria Ecuador

Located in “Subida Ecuador”, this small place offers the best pizzas in the area. It is a family business and the atmosphere is perfect to share a great moment with friend. As the specialty are pizzas, they are always worried to have fresh ingredients. In the afternoon, after a walk we’re going to enjoy delicious slices of pizza.

Paola restaurant

Located in Pedro Montt Avenue, this place has been for years in this city.
This business burned down a few years ago and it was rebuilt keeping the quality of food and service. It’s a classic in the city.
This restaurant have diverse types of meals, from fast food to homemade food. We recommend you an enormous “Churrasco Italiano”, you will not regret it.
